Bloom! Banks Of Color - Note:

Bloom, Banks of Color was written months after 911.

I was in route (driving) from Chicago
to Georgia with several others, (family) when I noticed that everything looked out of focus.
I love to look at scenery and the symetry of different kinds of trees. What I found so fascinating but yet unnerving was that everything look grayish. The trees had lost their beautiful hue of green, the rich green color that seems so alive, was so greyish, it actually looked greyish green.

At first I thought that it was just a small stretch of land that we had passed as we drove along the Interstate, but as we kept moving, it stretched throughout the whole state. There was no difference, the same greyish color was also in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia.
What I could not remember was, did it look like that in Illinois. So, I began looking for wild flowers, any colors that would stand out in the background of the scenery as we passed by.

To my awful surprise, everything looked almost lifeless, a massive expanse of grey mixed into whatever color that was appearing before us.

After reflecting on my trip once I got home, I remembered how pleasant the people were, everywhere we stopped for gas or food. Upon talking with people they seemed so hopeful about everything, but the color imagery could not be hidden or dismissed from my mind.
Everything had lost it beautiful rich color.
I began to pray withing myself and say, Bloom! banks of color, don't hide in the sky, show me your hues, red, yellow, blue... all the colors that I know are so rich and beautiful to see in the God given scenery we have.
Then I wanted them to fall from the sky and turn everything back like it once was before 911.

Bloom Banks of Color

Bloom Banks of Color

Scenic blooms around the country

Bloom Banks of red, hiding in the sky.
Bloom Banks of blue, where are you?
Bloom Banks of green, why can't you be seen?

Times of old, you were ever so bold.
Times of new, you've lost your cue.
Times that will follow, will you be hollow?

Bloom Banks, Bloom Banks, don't be shy.
Bloom Banks, Bloom Banks, show us your hues,
Red ones, green ones, yellow ones too.
Ever so precious with those baby blues.

Bloom Banks of Color, please fall from the sky,
Then we will never have to say goodbye.

Bridge Over Me

Bridge Over Me

GOD'S WORK IN US, IS LIKE A BRIDGE THAT ALLOWS US, 'TO MAKE IT OVER

Bridge Over My Wounded Heart
Take Out This Soul Wrenching Dart
Bridge Over Fragility And Great Pain,
Remove Sensitivity, With It's Sudden Maim

Bridge Over My Wounded Heart
Color My Black, That Left My Heart In A Sack
Bridge Over Distrust, And Sweep Away The Dust

Bridge Over My Heart With Your Grace
Allow Me Your Love To Taste,
Bridge Over My Heart With Your Mercy,
Allow Me To Build Up My Faith In Curtsy

Bridge Over My Heart With Kindness
Allow Me To have Your Mindness,
Bridge Over My Heart With Your Wholeness,
Allow Me To Be Filled With Boldness

Bridge Over My Heart With Your Peace,
Commanding Your Praise
Never To Cease!

Shadows Of Tomorrow

Shadows Of Tomorrow

Did you notice tomorrow, lerking over there
Just behind the bridge, see, it's everywhere
Faint suggestions, bound ever so tight
Bringing in appearances of shadowry blight

Inflected forms intercepting with might
Without reality, an illusitory sight
Silhouettes reaching in upward heights

Shadows of tomorrow with it's haloish light
Bring the mirror reflections
That hold visual impressions
Absoluetly making, tomorrow's concessions

The Shame Of My Pain

The Shame Of My Pain

The shame of my pain
Mobilizes me as lame
Though I'm not the blame
Makes me hurt just the same!

The shame of my pain
Don't never let me gain
Try hiding that name
Makes me hurt just the same!

The shame of my pain
While secretly desiring fame
Can't seem to focus my aim
Makes me hurt just the same!

The shame of my pain
I do, blame my lame
For never letting me gain
That much desired fame
Makes me hurt, just the same!

Freedom Still Holds Me

Freedom Still Holds Me

FREEDOM IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT POSSESSIONS WE CAN OWN, KEEP IT!

Freedom Still Holds Me Tight
Even Though Some Say
Where's The Light?

Bid Her Farewell!
We Won't Tell
What They Didn't Say Is,
We'll Open Up Hell!

Liberty And Justice
Rings Her Bell,
Can't You Hear
Her Fantastic Sell?

With Great Dignity
Her Torch Remains Lit,
Come One, Come All, And
Let Us Sit!

How Soon We Forget

How Soon We Forget

How soon we forget
The right way
Especially when we, have something to say

How soon we forget
The right way
When we declare, it's a new day!

How soon we forget
The right way
When we're determine, to keep one at bay

How soon we forget
The right way
When words of anger, you want to lay

How soon we forget
The right way
When we think, come what may!

Continue to forget
The right way,
And your heart, will certainly decay!

Phantom Of My Dream

Phantom Of My Dream

Once I had a dream
Far away it seemed
Straining to bring in light
I found it hurt my sight
It's the phantom of my dreams!

Turning to fight the glare
I couldn't help but stare
Moving here and there
This phantom I now must bare
It's the phantom of my dreams!

Seeking for much needed clarity
I only found this barity
Couldn't hold to guaranty
Thus, I became the rarity
It's the phantom of my dreams!

IF ONLY I HAD

'If Only I Had'

Hearts Should Be Giving, Loving,Trusting And Be Capable of Forgiving

IF ONLY I HAD A HEART!
OH, THE THINGS I WOULD IMPART
I'D LEARN TO GIVE,
SO I TOO, COULD LIVE.

IF ONLY I HAD A HEART!
OH, THE THINGS I WOULD IMPART `
I'D LOVE LIKE A DOVE, BARE IN MY COVE
THE OLIVE BRANCH OF PEACE.

IF ONLY I HAD A HEART!
OH, THE THINGS I WOULD IMPART
I WOULD LEARN TO TRUST
SO I TOO, CAN BE JUST.

IF ONLY I HAD A HEART!
OH, THE THINGS I WOULD IMPART
I'D NO LONGER NEED MY DART
YES, I WOULD BE VERY SMART,
AND CHOOSE A HEART THAT FORGIVES.

POETRY FROM MY HEART - Miracles

Miracles

Miracles are gifts from God that manifest great deliverance

Miracles manifest bold as gold
Captivating the recipient's hungry soul
Extraordinary wonders orchestrated by God
Known words, you can't describe
Miracles ascribed with puissant magnitude
Hard to express, this colossal gratitude
Boundless phenomenon unfolding in awe
In such ways, man never saw
Miracles, suddenly break from the sky
Manifestations that never say good-bye
Holding ownership within its sight
Breaking darkness with pureness of light
Miracles, pure gifts from God
Surges of life, affirmed with nods
Delights with sights, and illimitable glee
When man's humble heart, finally, recognizes thee

Having A Heart Towards God

As Christians we often have said to ourselves or even have made a statement to another Christian Believer, "I want to have a heart towards God. Many Christians are unaware of the preparations that must be made in order to have a heart toward God. We often think that if only we pray more, if only we read the Bible more, then we will completely have a heart towards God. Don't misunderstand me with this statement, praying and reading your Bible are the basic building blocks to having a Heart Towards God. So, you asked then how can I have a heart that is toward God? First, just like in any natural relationship, their must be a Relationship by knowing Him. You must know first off that God is Real and that He desires to have a Holy Spiritual Intimate Relationship with you. Within this Holy relationship with God, you must first learn about God. Know the Attributes of God, know what God requires of you. Learn just what God expects of you day by day. God desires a true relationship with us. God desires a developing continual fellowhip with us where day by day He can deposit of Himself into our spirit. Because God is faithful, He expects and desires nothing less from his children. He calls for our faithfulness to Him to be Pure and Unbroken. In order to have a Heart Towards God, God's Heart Must First Be Toward You! It is God who first draws us. If we are receptive to the calling and drawing of God, He draws nearer to you. The Scripture says. James 4:8 Draw Nigh Unto God and He Will Draw Nigh Unto You. We've got to realize the urgent importance of possesing constant closeness to God. God desires that our hearts become one with Him. In order to truly have a Heart Towards a Holy God, is that our hearts must first be cleansed. Scripture: Ps.51 [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. We must first also have a Repentive Heart that yearns to be Regenerated. After the regeneration of your heart, you will begin a journey of wanting more and more of God. Your priorities change, where you were putting other things before God, you will begin putting God First! Scripture: Matthew 7: [7] Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: [8] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. . Scripture: Matt.6 [33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Your life will change completely for the better. When something has been overhauled, it has been made new. BUT God does it so much BETTER.... He scraps the old, and makes everything brand new. Scripture: 2Cor.5:17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. . In your desire for developing a heart towards God, it's good to be like David, God said that David was a man after His Own Heart. What made David so special? David Loved God, praised God, he sang songs, he prayed, he worshipped and Glorified God. David's heart was truly toward God. "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will. -Scripture: Ac 13:22 Mark.12 [30] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Begin to develop a 'Love Relationship' with God, study what's it like to love your neighbor as yourself. Dr. Daisy Gaitors
